Das Martinsfest haben Kinder, Eltern und Angehörige am Freitagabend in der Pfarrkirche St. Georg und anschließend am Kindergarten St. Josef gefeiert. Sankt Martin war ein Vorbild, betonte Dekan Jürgen Josef Eckl bei der Andacht, er habe allen Menschen geholfen. „Er hat gezeigt, dass es nicht viel braucht, um zu helfen“, sagte er, „auch uns geht es so: wir können uns gegenseitig helfen und uns unterstützen.“ Bei der Andacht zeigten die Kinder die berühmte Mantel-Teilung und sangen für die Teilnehmer der Andacht. Im Anschluss fand der Martinszug durchs Dorf statt: Die Kinder zogen singend zum Kindergarten, angeführt von den Vorschulkindern, ihren Erzieherinnen und dem Heiligen Martin, gut gerüstet mit Schutzhelm mit dem Pony voraus. Die freiwillige Feuerwehr sicherte derweil die Dorfstraßen ab. Am Kindergartenvorplatz wurde dann noch gesellig beisammengesessen, der Elternbeirat hatte für einen Imbiss und Getränke gesorgt.
