Zum Oktoberrosenkranz mit anschließender Lichterprozession waren die Gläubigen der Pfarreiengemeinschaft am Freitagabend eingeladen. Viele Familien nahmen die Einladung an und kamen in die Pfarrkirche.
Pfarrer Jürgen Josef Eckl begrüßte die Gläubigen und freute sich insbesondere viele Erstkommunion-Kinder in den Reihen zu sehen. Im Vorfeld hatten sie gemeinsam in der Schule Rosenkränze gebastelt und das Rosenkranz-Gebet gelernt. Der selbst gebastelte Rosenkranz kam an diesem Abend zum ersten Mal zum Einsatz, und der Geistliche unterstrich, für alle Anliegen, die die Gläubigen im Herzen tragen, werde gebetet. Die Pfarrkirche zeigte sich zu diesem Oktoberrosenkranz wieder in besonderes Licht getaucht, der Rosenkranz selbst wurde mit Liedern bereichert.
Im Anschluss durften die Gläubigen beim Ausgang jeweils eine Kerze nehmen, damit schlossen sie sich dem Lichterzug zum Marienbrunnen am Rathausplatz.
